The company behind MOSgen
We make MOSgen™ and MicroOrganoSpheres (MOS®), the uniform 3D model for every application.

Uniform Bio in brief
Uniform Bio makes MOSgen™, a benchtop instrument that turns a lab’s own samples into up to 280,000 MicroOrganoSpheres (MOS®) in a single run. MOS are miniaturized, pipetteable 3D models: they go into the plates, readers, and liquid handlers a lab already runs. Uniform Bio is based in Durham, North Carolina, in Research Triangle Park.
Leadership

Eric Struminger

Eric has more than a decade of experience in high-throughput laboratory automation and instrumentation. At Xilis he was Head of Technology Platform, responsible for the platform that includes MOSgen, after ten years in qPCR automation engineering at Transnetyx. Across those roles he was responsible for more than 200 automated systems deployed worldwide.

David Graham, PhD
Chief Scientific Officer
David is an organoid and translational biology expert with 18 years of academic and industry experience. At Xilis he headed the breast cancer and NSCLC MOS programs and was a Principal Investigator on its breast cancer NIH SBIR Fast-Track award. At Uniform Bio he leads scientific strategy and partnerships. He holds a PhD in Cell Biology and Physiology from UNC Chapel Hill.

Daniel Nelson, PhD
Vice President of Engineering
Daniel is the principal architect of MOSgen, with 20 years of microfluidics experience. As Senior Director of Device Engineering at Xilis, he engineered the company's last four device generations and was the Principal Investigator on its NIH SBIR Fast-Track award with MD Anderson and Mayo Clinic.
